About TCB
Talking Chicago Baseball was founded in February 2009 as a way for the authors to whine about the Cubs and White Sox. Now it is a top destination for all the latest Cubs and White Sox news and analysis. We have all the current news for both teams in Chicago and proudly do so with as much bias as possible.

Sox prospect Dayan Viciedo was shut down today after he was diagnosed with inflammation in his throwing elbow. Viciedo was playing in the Arizona Fall League, a league full of the top prospects from each of the major league teams.
Viciedo is probably not going to be ready for next season, but I think he was best off having another year of experience in AAA. I hope he's alright by the time Spring Training rolls around though because he does need to at least be in the mix. We need to be able to keep evaluating him because he is still a relative unknown.
Sox prospects Jordan Danks, Justin Cassell, Jacob Rasner, and C.J. Retherford will continue playing in Arizona.
