About TCB
Talking Chicago Baseball was founded in February 2009 as a way for the authors to whine about the Cubs and White Sox. Now it is a top destination for all the latest Cubs and White Sox news and analysis. We have all the current news for both teams in Chicago and proudly do so with as much bias as possible.

According to MLBTradeRumors.com and the New York Daily News, the White Sox and Royals have agreed to a trade of OF Mark Teahan for 2B Chris Getz and 3B Josh Fields.
This deal has not been confirmed by anyone in the Chicago media nor is it on any of the "official" media websites. However this is a deal that I could actually see getting done because the Sox do have a surplus at 2B (Nix and Lillibridge) and Fields isn't going to get any playing time any time soon and he was already crying about it last year.
Teahan would fit with the Sox pretty well because of his relatively high average and his solid defense and fundamentals. He'd be a good two hitter for this team.
I'll have more on this later today if this trade turns official. To stay the most up to date, follow TCB on Twitter.
